Key Responsibilities:

Integrated Management System (IMS) Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Jennings O’Donovan’s Integrated Management System (IMS) in strict accordance with relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018).
  • Ensure the IMS is robustly integrated into all of the company’s operations, project delivery, and business processes, and aligns with RSK Group operations.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the IMS to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall business performance.
  • Monitor and regularly report on the performance of the IMS to senior leadership, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic actions.

ISO Accreditation and Standards

  • Lead and manage the company’s ISO certification processes, including meticulous preparation for external audits and proactive liaison with certification bodies.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable ISO standards, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in ISO standards and regulatory frameworks, implementing necessary updates to the IMS.
  • Support the business with obtaining additional certification as agreed with the Senior Management Team.

Document Control and Review

  • Act as the lead Document Controller for all IMS-related documentation (policies, procedures, work instructions, etc.).
  • Manage the creation, review, approval, distribution, and systematic archiving of all documents.
  • Ensure all documents are current, accurately formatted, accessible, and version-controlled.
  • Implement and maintain an efficient document management system (e.g., SharePoint).
  • Facilitate regular reviews of IMS documentation for accuracy and relevance.

Internal Audits

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive annual internal audit program.
  • Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate and track corrective and preventive actions arising from all audit findings.
  • Train, mentor, and support other internal auditors within the practice.
  • Provide regular updates to Senior Management on audit outcomes and trends.

Training and Awareness

  • Develop and deliver effective training programs to all employees on IMS policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Actively foster a strong culture of quality, environmental responsibility, and occupational health and safety.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate effectively with department leads and project teams to ensure IMS requirements are integrated into daily operations.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to all staff on IMS-related matters.


Qualification and Experience:

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (Lead Auditor certification in one or more ISO standards is highly desirable).

Experience & Knowledge

  • 5 years proven experience in managing Integrated Management Systems, ideally within an engineering consultancy.
  • In-depth, practical hands-on experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in robust document control and managing comprehensive documentation systems.
  • Proven experience with SharePoint, intranet systems, or other enterprise-level document management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
