Key Responsibilities:
Modelling & Design
- Develop detailed Revit models for various civil structures in the water sector.
- Create multi-discipline coordinated models, drawings, and schedules.
- Generate Revit and Civil 3D models from senior engineers’ outputs.
- Integrate Cloud Point & Topo Surveys.
- Assist with the production of 2D coordination and construction drawings.
Coordination & Compliance
- Manage clash reporting and coordinate with different disciplines to resolve clashes.
- Maintain ACC/BIM360 cloud models and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM documentation and use the latest models and designs from all stakeholders.
- Align design development with the project BIM execution plan and standards.
- Produce and maintain the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) throughout the project.
- Update and administer all coordination documents, registers, and drawings.
Collaboration & Support
- Provide technical support to the project team.
- Attend weekly internal model, design team, and project BIM meetings with main contractors.
- Liaise between Civil & Structural Designers and Contractors.
Person Specification:
Experience & Qualifications
- A 3rd-level qualification in Engineering coupled with a BIM qualification.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience within a BIM coordination function.
- A background in Civil Engineering with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Demonstrable experience with the BIM Framework and relevant ISO Standards.
- Experience with Common Data Environments (CDEs).
Technical Skills
- Extensive experience working with Revit on infrastructure projects, especially in civil and structures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Civil 3D is considered essential.
- Knowledge and understanding of other software platforms.
- Enhanced communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, discipline leads, and project managers.
