Jennings O’Donovan has a proven track record of delivering large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure across Ireland, managing a diverse portfolio of projects from preliminary design through to commissioning and handover. This extensive body of work represents a significant capital investment in national infrastructure, ensuring the provision of high-quality drinking water and modern wastewater treatment for numerous communities.

Commissioned & Handed Over

To date, our team has successfully delivered over 49.4 MLD (million litres of water per day) through a €50m capital investment program. These completed projects include major regional water treatment plants (WTP) and wastewater treatment plants (WwTP):

Roscommon Killeglan WTP (7,000m³/day), Ballinagard WTP (5,200m³/day), Rockingham WTP (5,000m³/day), Lisbrock WTP (4,000m³/day), Ballyfarnan WTP (1,350m³/day).

Cavan & Leitrim Moneyduff WTP (5,500m³/day), Knockataggart WTP (5,250m³/day), Ballyconnell WTP (1,250m³/day).

Donegal Gortahork WTP (2,000m³/day), Owenteskna WTP (2,000m³/day).

Midlands & Laois Ardan WTP (5,900m³/day), Birr WTP (3,600m³/day), Clonaslee WTP (1,350m³/day).

Wastewater Upgrades Athlone WwTP Upgrade (36,000 PE), Ballybofey Stranorlar WwTP Upgrade.

Donegal Group B Killybegs WwTP (4,200 PE) & SS, Bundoran WwTP (8,000 PE) & SS, CN2 SS, Glencolumbkille and Convoy SSs.

Sewerage Schemes Rosses Point SS, Oldcastle SS.

Under Construction

We are currently overseeing several high-priority projects in the construction and commissioning phases, representing a combined value of approximately €150m:

Water Supply Lettermacaward WTP (2,800m³/day), Killybegs WTP (6,800m³/day).

Wastewater & Drainage Athlone Main Drainage, Rathmullan, Milford, and Ramelton WwTP & SS, Kilmacrennan, Carrigart, and Milford WwTPs & SS.

Network Improvements Ballybofey and Stranorlar Sewerage Scheme.
