JOD were appointed by Uisce Eireann as Employer’s Representative circa 2012. We have brought the project through preliminary and detailed design, planning, procurement and are now administering the construction phase. The project comprises
- 390m of 110mm dia rising main
- 600m of 225mm dia sewers
- 79m sewer rehabilitation
- New 700 PE wastewater treatment plant at Carrigart
- New 1,000 PE wastewater treatment plant at Kilmacrennan
Challenges on the project include working adjacent to SAC and SPAs, confined sites and carrying out upgrade works to live WwTPs in KN and CT.
The upgraded scheme will achieving compliance with legal requirements regarding wastewater treatment, protection of local environment (River Lurgy) and provision of treatment capacity to enable future growth.
